KUALA LUMPUR – Geno Group has released a revised version of its white paper, developed in collaboration with the Malaysia Automotive, Robotics and IoT Institute (MARii) and ACO Tech, focusing on the adoption of enterprise blockchain solutions and tokenisation within Malaysia’s automotive and mobility ecosystem.

The updated white paper builds on the original publication released in June 2024 and further aligns its terminology and conceptual framework with Bank Negara Malaysia’s publication, “Asset Tokenisation in the Malaysian Financial Sector” dated 30 October 2025.

The white paper outlines the Web3 Direct-to-Customer (W3-D2C) framework centred on a tokenised loyalty points model. The framework is designed to address key commercial challenges in Malaysia’s automotive landscape by enabling transparent incentives and data flows across a multi-stakeholder ecosystem. It presents the procedures and processes underpinning this model, with a focus on turning loyalty mechanisms from passive liabilities into programmable engagement tools that support referrals and long-term participation.

As part of this framework, the white paper also presents the design of a permissioned, MYR-denominated settlement unit (“MYRG”) intended to support faster, more transparent B2B settlement within the ecosystem. The introduction of MYRG is already under discussion with the relevant regulator, and its implementation is envisioned to operate within clearly defined programme rules and applicable regulatory requirements.

Geno remains committed to continue working with ecosystem partners in Malaysia to further develop and validate commercially viable tokenisation use cases, in a manner that supports alignment with the principles outlined by Bank Negara Malaysia. These efforts are intended to contribute to the responsible adoption of tokenisation within enterprise and mobility ecosystems.
